(RV) Asbury's Jablonowski nets RSC Women's Tennis Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- (RV) Asbury University freshman Kendall Jablonowski went 7-1 on the week to net River States Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for April 16-22 .
A native of Bellville, Texas, Jablonowski was 4-0 playing at No. 3 singles and 3-1 playing at No. 1 doubles on the week. She went undefeated in her RSC matchups to help the Eagles to the conference regular-season title at 8-0 RSC.
Jablonowski won her singles matches all by a score of 6-0, 6-0 over Midway, Ohio Christian and Carlow. She also picked up wins of 8-2, 8-1 and 8-1 in doubles during those matches. The only loss for her on the week came versus (RV) Georgetown in singles.
Asbury is 11-3 overall and "receiving votes" in the NAIA Women's Tennis Top 25 Poll heading into the RSC Tennis Championships April 27-28 in Mason, Ohio.
