IU Kokomo's Rudy earns RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU Kokomo sophomore Macee Rudy has earned the River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week award for Aug. 20-26. The Middletown, Ind., native posted 115 digs and a .978 reception percentage on the week.
Rudy led the Cougars to four wins in five matches over the weekend. A big match was 30 digs in a 3-2 win over Grace (Ind.). She also tallied 28 digs versus St. Ambrose and 27 versus Northwestern Ohio. For the week, Rudy served at a percentage of .873.
The Cougars (4-1) visit the IU East Tournament this coming weekend Aug. 31-Sept. 1.
