WVU Tech's Pateli repeats as RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- For the second week in a row, WVU Tech junior Konstantina Pateli has been named the River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week, this time for Sept. 3-9.

Pateli, a 5-7 native of Athens, Greece, led the Golden Bears to a 5-0 record on the week, and she put up 191 total assists during the time. She averaged 11.24 assists and 2.18 digs per set. Pateli also added 18 total kills and hit .500 for the week.

Pateli had 35 or more assists in four different matches, including a big performance of 63 assists and 15 digs in a 3-2 win over Concord. Another huge match was 50 assists, nine digs and eight kills in a 3-1 victory over Lees-McRae.

WVU Tech is now 11-3 on the year and visits the St. Mary of the Woods Classic this weekend.
