(RV) WVU Tech's Domingo Xam-mar records RSC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- (RV) WVU Tech goalkeeper Jose Domingo Xam-mar picked up his second River States Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, most recently for his play Sept. 10-16.
Domingo Xam-mar, a junior from Catalunya, Spain, remained unbeaten with two wins on the week. He earned two shutouts, which were a 5-0 win over Bluefield (Va.) and a 0-0 tie versus Mount Vernon Nazarene.
The results pushed the Golden Bears to unbeaten in eight games with a 6-0-2 record. WVU Tech visits Union (Ky.) for its next game Sept. 19.
