WVU Tech's Pateli continues hold on RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week award

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- WVU Tech junior Konstantina Pateli claimed the River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week award for Sept. 17-23. It is the fourth week in a row she has won the honor.

A native of Athens, Greece, Pateli compiled 106 assists in three matches last week, all of which came in RSC action. She had more than 30 assists in every match with a high of 43 assists, nine digs and four kills in a 3-2 loss to IU Kokomo. She averaged 9.64 assists and 2.91 digs per set.

Pateli put up a double-double of 33 assists and 15 digs in a sweep of Cincinnati Christian, and she posted 30 assists, eight digs and four blocks in a sweep of Rio Grande.

WVU Tech (16-4, 2-1 RSC) hosts a tri-match Sept. 25 that includes matchups with Salem International and Washington Adventist.
