Sloan from IU Kokomo runs to RSC Women's XC Runner of the Week honors
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Brittany Sloan of IU Kokomo ran her way to River States Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for Aug. 27-Sept. 2.
Sloan had a high finish of third place at the Bluffton University Invitational this past week. She finished the 5,000-meter race in 19:50. There were 59 runners in the race in all, and she was one of only four to break 20 minutes. IU Kokomo placed fourth as a team.
The Cougars will run in the Indiana Wesleyan Twilight this Friday, Sept. 7.
