RSC in NAIA Top 25: Rio Grande moves up to #9, WVU Tech now "receiving votes"

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The latest national rankings for NAIA men's soccer have two teams from the River States Conference mentioned. This week's NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll has University of Rio Grande (Ohio) moving up seven spots to No. 9 in the country, and WVU Tech (4-0-1) is now "receiving votes" and just outside the Top 25.

Rio Grande's fast start has it breaking back into the Top 10 after opening up at No. 16 in the preseason rankings. The RedStorm has outscored its opponents, 9-1, and has three shutouts through four games.

WVU Tech is unbeaten in five games and has eight goals for and just two goals against thus far. An NAIA national tournament participant last year along with Rio Grande and the defending RSC Tournament champions, the Golden Bears are back to receiving votes after being outside of the mention in the preseason.
