No. 25 Rio Grande continues national ranking in NAIA DII Top 25 Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- University of Rio Grande (Ohio) maintained its status this week as a nationally ranked squad. The RedStorm came in at No. 25 in the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll released by the national office on Tuesday (Jan. 8).

Rio Grande has been ranked in the Top 25 all year long and reached as high as No. 18. The RedStorm remained ranked with 64 total votes. There were three teams that dropped out of the poll from last time and three new teams this week.

Rio Grande is 13-5 overall, 4-2 RSC after Thursday night's loss to WVU Tech. The RSC East Division battle handed the RedStorm their first loss at home, where they are now 10-1 on the year.
