Small selected for RSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week from Point Park (Pa.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park (Pa.) University freshman Taylor Small was selected for River States Conference Volleyball Attacker of the Week for her play Sept. 23-29. It is the second conference honor of the year for her.
The Amherst, Ohio, native put up 41 kills combined in three conference victories for the Pioneers. She hit .447 for the week and also collected 10 digs and four blocks.
Small had 10 kills in a sweep at Carlow to start the week. She then added 16 kills, five digs and two blocks in a 3-1 win over WVU Tech. Small finished off with 15 kills in a four-set win over Rio Grande (Ohio).
Point Park is 12-2 overall, 3-0 RSC and visits the Notre Dame (Ohio) tri-match on Tuesday.
