Alejandro Jaimes selected RSC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the for No. 21 WVU Tech
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Freshman midfielder Luis Alejandro Jaimes scored six points in two games last week for No. 21 WVU Tech to earn River States Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 7-13.
Alejandro Jaimes, from Santander, Colombia, opened up with two goals and four points in a 6-2 victory over Brescia (Ky.). He scored in each half as the Golden Bears put up three goals each half. In a 3-0 victory over Cincinnati Christian, he scored the final goal in a 3-0 win.
WVU Tech, ranked No. 21 in the country, stayed perfect in the RSC at 5-0 and is 11-0-1 overall. The Golden Bears have a big matchup with No. 10 Rio Grande (Ohio) on Thursday at 7 p.m.
