Burman repeats as RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week for IU Southeast

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU Southeast libero Kenna Burman won River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week for a second time in a row. The latest accolade is for Oct. 21-26.

The junior from Arcadia, Ind., posted 41 total digs in two matches on the week. The Grenadiers won both of those in RSC action to improve to 20-5 overall, 9-2 RSC. Burman averaged 6.83 digs per set and also collected eight assists and two kills on the week. She severed at a perfect 100 percent and passed at a .944 rate.

Burman tallied 24 digs in the 3-0 win over Ohio Christian and 17 digs and five assists in a 3-0 win over IU East. IU Southeast plays a big match at Brescia (Ky.) on Tuesday night.
