Just picks up fourth RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week honor for Brescia (Ky.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- For the fourth time this season, Brescia (Ky.) University sophomore Brittney Just has been selected for River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week. The current honor is for her play Oct. 21-27.
The 5-7 native of Louisville, Ky., collected 119 assists and 32 digs on the week. Brescia went 3-0 in those matches, including two RSC victories. Just averaged 11.90 assists and 3.20 digs per set and picked up two kills in six attempts.
A big match was 45 assists and 10 digs in a 3-1 victory over IU East. She also had 37 assists and 15 assists for another double-double in a sweep of Ohio Christian. She started the week with 37 assists and seven digs in a sweep over Fisk (Tenn.).
Brescia is 21-6, 10-1 RSC to move up to second place in the RSC West. The Bearcats play at IU Southeast for a big match on Tuesday.
