Rd 1 Recap: RSC Men's Golf Fall Preview -- Rio Grande (Ohio) leads by 4 shots
RESULTS
FLORENCE, Ind. -- After round one of the River States Conference Men's Golf Fall Preview on Monday, University of Rio Grande (Ohio) leads by four shots over Midway (Ky.) University and IU East. The RedStorm shot 297 to lead after 18 holes. Midway and IU East both shot 301.
The final round will be on Tuesday. The tournament is being held at Belterra Golf Course, the same course as the RSC Men's Golf Championship in the spring.
IU East's Brady Wheeler shot 1-under 70 and is on top of the individual leaderboard. Trey Blevins from Midway is in second place after an even-par 71. Victor Vargas from Asbury (Ky.) University is in third with a 72. Six players are tied for fourth with a score of 73.
In the team standings, Asbury sits in fourth place with a 303 followed by IU Kokomo at 309, Brescia with 312, WVU Tech with 314, Point Park with 335 and Carlow at 368.
