Roell named RSC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Point Park (Pa.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park (Pa.) University junior Mitchell Roell totaled 11 points in three games to earn River States Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Sept. 30-Oct. 6.
Roell, from South Park, Pa., had five goals and an assist in three games on the week. The Pioneers won all three of those on the road. Roell began with three goals in a 5-2 win over NCAA Division II Salem University. He then had two goals and an assist in a 6-1 victory at Midway (Ky.). He did not score in a 3-1 win at Asbury (Ky.).
Point Park is 10-1 overall, 3-0 RSC and will be at Ohio Christian on Thursday.
