Jones wins RSC Women's Golfer of the Week from IU Kokomo
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU Kokomo junior Brandi Jones was the medalist at last week's RSC Women's Golf Fall Preview, and thus she was selected as the River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for Sept. 30-Oct. 6.
Jones, from Peru, Ind., shot rounds of 79 and 76 to win the tournament by two shots. She was one shot off the lead after the first round and then moved up with her 4-over effort in the final round.
The Cougars finished third as a team in the conference preview. They will compete at the Grace College Battle of the Henge Oct. 11-12.
