Burman picks up RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week for IU Southeast

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU Southeast libero Kenna Burman picked up River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week for Sept. 30-Oct. 6.

A junior from Arcadia, Ind., Burman averaged 7.11 digs and served a 100 percent accuracy to win the award. She also posted a reception percentage of .897.

Burman totaled 34 digs despite a 3-1 loss to Brescia (Ky.). She also had a big match of 24 digs in a sweep of Point Park (Pa.). She added six digs in two sets played during a sweep of Carlow (Pa.). For the week, Burman was perfect in 23 service attempts.

IU Southeast is 15-4 overall, 5-1 RSC and will host Spalding (Ky.) on Tuesday.
