Just repeats as RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week for Brescia (Ky.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Brescia (Ky.) University sophomore Brittney Just is the River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week for Sept. 30-Oct. 6. It is her second award in a row and the third one on the year.
Just, from Louisville, Ky., collected 121 assists in three matches last week, all RSC victories. All three matches featured at least 40 assists, and she had two double-doubles. Weekly averages were 11.0 assists and 2.55 digs per set.
She had 41 assists, 10 digs and four blocks in a 3-1 win over IU Southeast. Just put up 40 assists, 12 digs and two blocks in a 3-1 victory over Point Park (Pa.). She then had 40 assists, six digs and two blocks in a 3-0 win over Carlow (Pa.).
Brescia (15-4, 5-1 RSC) visits the Red River Classic Oct. 11-12.
