Sandefur tabbed RSC Women's Basketball Player of the Week from IU Southeast

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU Southeast guard Ariana Sandefur averaged a strong double-double to pick up the first River States Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week of the season. She won the award for Nov. 4-10.

A 5-9 senior from Greenfield, Ind., Sandefur put up 17.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in two victories. She shot 58 percent from the field and was a perfect 10 for 10 from the free-throw line.

Sandefur collected 18 points, 14 rebounds and six assists in a victory over St. Mary of the Woods. There were also 16 points, 12 rebounds and three assists in the rout of Simmons.

IU Southeast has won all three games it's played so far this year and will be at the Huntington (Ind.) Tournament this weekend for two games.
