Holt's OT winner earns RSC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Asbury (Ky.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Asbury (Ky.) University junior Jordan Holt scored a double-overtime goal in the regular-season finale to earn River States Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week from Nov. 4-10.
A native of Granite Bay, Calif., Holt scored in the 108th minute to lift Asbury to a 1-0 win over Ohio Christian. That victory gave the Eagles the No. 1 seed in the RSC Championship. It also earned a quarterfinal bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Asbury is 8-9-1 overall, 7-2-1 RSC and will host Point Park (Pa.) for an RSC semifinal game on Wednesday night.
