Justice tabbed RSC Women's Basketball Player of the Week from (RV) WVU Tech
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- (RV) WVU Tech had junior guard Whittney Justice averaged 28.0 points per game in two victories to earn River States Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 11-17.
The 5-7 native of Danese, W.Va., totaled 56 points in the two games, which were victories over Wilberforce (Ohio) and Fisk (Tenn.). She averaged 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 60 percent from the field (21 for 35). Justice lit it up from long range shooting 11 for 21 for 52 percent.
Justice had 25 points and made 7 of 12 treys versus Wilberforce. That game also included four rebounds, three assists and two steals. The win over Fisk featured 31 points and 4 for 9 from the arc to go along with six rebounds, four assists and three steals.
WVU Tech is 5-3, 1-0 RSC and will be hosting Washington Adventist for its next game on Nov. 23.
