Pertuset named RSC Women's Basketball Player of the Week from Ohio Christian
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Ohio Christian University senior Staci Pertuset had a huge week averaging 20.5 points, 18.5 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 6.0 steals per game to claim River States Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week Nov. 18-24.
A 5-8 guard from West Union, Ohio, Pertuset (formerly Dinsmore) led the Trailblazers to a 2-0 week. First was a 117-67 win over Geneva followed by a 125-73 victory over St. Mary of the Woods.
She had 18 points, 17 rebounds, seven assists and six steals versus Geneva. Pertuset then had 23 points, 20 rebounds, 11 assists and six steals for a triple-double versus St. Mary of the Woods. She shot 56 percent from the field and 10 for 12 from the foul line.
Ohio Christian is 5-3 and plays at WVU Tech on Dec. 3.
