Logsdon named RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week for Brescia (Ky.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Brescia (Ky.) University libero Kristin Logsdon had a big week in the back row and was named River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week for Oct. 28-Nov. 4.
Logsdon, a junior from Robards, Ky., collected a total of 68 digs in three matches on the week, all RSC victories for the Bearcats. She averaged 5.67 digs per set, served at a percet 100 percent in 25 attempts and passed at 91.9-percent accuracy.
Logsdon posted 28 digs and one service ace in a big win over IU Kokomo, 3-1. She also had 16 digs in a sweep of CCU and 24 digs in a five-setter over IU Southeast.
Brescia moved into first place in the RSC West Division with the big week and stands at 24-6 overall, 13-1 RSC. The Bearcats are at Midway (Ky.) and Asbury (Ky.) this weekend.
