Sipe selected for RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week for IU Southeast once again
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU Southeast junior Hannah Sipe has been selected the River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week for Oct. 28-Nov. 4. It is her second honor of the year and the second one in three weeks.
The junior from Seymour, Ind., averaged 11.83 assists and 3.00 digs per set and also hit .394 with nine kills on the week. She led the Grenadiers to a 2-1 week and posted two matches of over 50 assists.
Sipe put up 56 assists and 14 digs in a 3-2 loss to Brescia (Ky.). Another huge match was 55 assists, 10 digs and four kills in a 3-1 victory over IU Kokomo. In between, Sipe collected another double-double of 31 assists, 12 digs and four kills hitting 1.000 in a sweep of Cincinnati Christian.
IU Southeast is 22-6 overall, 11-3 RSC and will be closing out the regular season Friday and Saturday at Asbury (Ky) and at Midway (Ky.).
