SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- Indiana University Kokomo is representing the River States Conference at the NAIA Volleyball National Championship final site, which begins Tuesday, Dec. 3 from the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

The Cougars (27-11) are the champions of the River States Conference, and they advanced to the final site with a 3-1 victory at Trinity Christian (Ill.) in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round on Nov. 23.

IU Kokomo has made its fifth all-time appearance in the NAIA national tournament. The Cougars have advanced to the final site for the second time with the other appearance being in 2016.

There are 32 teams remaining with the 12 NAIA Opening Round winners joining the 20 teams that received a bye to the final site. Play in Iowa begins with three days of pool play Dec. 3, 4, 5. There are eight pools with four teams each. The top two teams in each pool advanced to the elimination bracket.

The round of 16 and the national quarterfinals are on Dec. 6. The semifinals and the NAIA national finals are on Dec. 7.

IU Kokomo is in Pool E along with No. 5 Southern Oregon (29-3), No. 12 Central Methodist (Mo.) (30-3) and No. 23 Bellevue (Neb.) (27-8). The Cougars face those teams in order on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
