Alice Lloyd's Hall nets RSC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Alice Lloyd (Ky.) College guard Haley Hall averaged 26.0 points per game in two victories to earn River States Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 4-10.
A 5-9 sophomore from Grayson, Ky., Hall led the Eagles to RSC wins over Cincinnati Christian and IU Kokomo to take over first place in the RSC West Division. That included 36 points, eight rebounds and five big 3-pointers in a first-place matchup with IU Kokomo. She also tallied 16 points, four aassists, four rebounds and two steals versus CCU.
Hall made 15 of 36 field goals and 5 of 9 3-pointers on the week. She was also 17 for 19 from the foul line. The win over IU Kokomo was in overtime. It was Hall who led a comeback to force overtime, and she hit two big 3-pointers in the extra period.
Alice Lloyd (15-8, 11-5 RSC) will host Midway (Ky.) on Tuesday.
