CCU's Price claims RSC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Cincinnati Christian University sprinter Xzavia Price won the NCCAA national championships in the 60 meters to earn River States Conference Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Feb. 11-18.
A freshman from Fort Worth, Texas, Price placed first at NCCAA's with a time of 6.85 seconds. It beat out 26 other runners and made him CCU's first men's track national champion. It also surpassed the NAIA 'A' qualifying standard of 6.88 seconds.
Next up would be the NAIA indoor national meet Feb. 28-March 2 at Brookings, S.D.
