TIFFIN, Ohio -- For the second year in a row, the River States Conference Men's & Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held at Tiffin University's Heminger Center. This year's meet is coming up on Friday, Feb. 8. Last year marked the inaugural indoor championships in conference history, and we look forward to another outstanding meet.
This year's meet begins at 3 p.m. with events on the track and in the field starting at that time. See below for the complete schedule. The Heminger Center at Tiffin University serves as the host site for the championships. It is located at 350 Main Street, Tiffin, Ohio, 44883. Admission price is $5 for all spectators for an all-day pass.
The top eight finishers in each event will earn points for their schools as follows: 1st place -- 10 points; 2nd Place -- 8 points; 3rd Place -- 6 points; 4th Place -- 5 points; 5th Place -- 4 points; 6th Place -- 3 points; 7th Place -- 2 points; 8th Place -- 1 point. Entries for individual events are limited to four per school, and all four may score. Entries for relays are limited to one per school.
After the conclusion of all events, awards for teams and individuals will be handed out. Awards will be presented to team champions and runners up as well as the most outstanding performers and coaches of the year for men and women. All-conference honors will be awarded to individuals and relays who place in the top three of each event with medals handed out throughout the meet.
