IU Southeast's Olds repeats as RSC Softball Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU Southeast outfielder Kyndyl Olds for the second time this year has been named River States Conference Softball Player of the Week. The latest honor comes for her play March 4-10.
The junior from Commiskey, Ind., went 5 for 6 in two games on the week for an .833 batting average. She also posted a slugging percentage of 1.333 with a double, a triple and three base hits. Olds scored two runs, picked up two RBIs and walked once.
Olds was 3 for 4 with a triple, an RBI and run in a 6-2 victory over Lindenwood-Belleville. She was also 2 for 2 with a walk, a double and an RBI in a 7-2 win over Oakland City.
IU Southeast is 6-10 overall and welcomes Carlow (Pa.) and Point Park (Pa.) on Friday and Saturday for the start of RSC play.
