IU Southeast's Kline claims RSC Softball Player of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU Southeast senior Justice Kline hit .875 in three games last week to claim River States Conference Softball Player of the Week for March 18-24.

Kline, from Bedford, Ind., had seven hits in eight at bats on the week to pace the Grenadiers to a 3-0 record, which included a doubleheader sweep of Asbury (Ky.) University. Kline packed a lot into the three games with four runs, two doubles, a homer, six RBIs and a 1.500 slugging percentage.

Versus Asbury, she was 4 for 4 on the day with two runs, two doubles and four RBIs as IU Southeast won, 7-3 and 10-2. She then went 3 for 4 with a homer and two RBIs in an 11-9 win over Lindenwood Belleville in nine innings.

IU Southeast is 16-12 overall, 7-1 RSC and will host Georgetown (Ky.) on Tuesday for two games.
