Point Park's Goodman named RSC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park (Pa.) University freshman Nia Goodman won the high jump with a school record to notch River States Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week from March 18-24.
The Charlotte, N.C., product took first place in the high jump at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational with a clearance of 1.57 meters. She also registered a top-10 showing in the long jump with a distance of 4.20 meters for ninth place. Goodman also competed on the track leading the Pioneers in the 100 meters.
Point Park returns to action March 30 at the Bethany (W.Va.) Invitational.
