Boone, Thompson, Walsman represent RSC at NAIA All-Star Game

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The NAIA Men's Basektball All-Star game featured 30 of the best players in the entire association, and three players from the River States Conference were hailed as participants in the contest.

Asbury (Ky.) University senior forward Trenton Thompson scored 14 points to help the West All-Stars to a 111-107 victory over the East All-Stars, which featured WVU Tech senior guard Elisha Boone and Cincinnati Christian University senior forward Blake Walsman.

Thompson's scoring effort was second on the West team. He made 6 of 10 from the field and drained 2 for 4 from beyond the arc while grabbing six rebounds in 15 minutes.

Boone tallied 10 points on 5 of 11 from the field as one of five players on the East squad in double digits. He played 13 minutes in all. Walsman tallied two points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 13 minutes.
