No. 16 Point Park's Huber snags RSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- No. 16 Point Park (Pa.) University right-hander Ryan Huber pitched 11.2 innings with a 1.54 ERA to pick up River States Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week from Feb. 25-March 3.

The junior from Edmond, Okla., was 2-0 with a save in his three outings on the week. He racked up 15 strikeouts compared to two walks, allowed 11 hits and three runs (two earned).

Huber begin with a victory in 6.1 innings as a starter versus (RV) Judson. He struck out nine and walked two in a 4-2 win. He later was a big factor in the RSC series win at WVU Tech. He closed out both of Point Park's wins in the series. First with a save in 2.1 scoreless innings of relief in the opener and then with the win in 3.0 more innings of relief in the finale.

Point Park is 6-5, 2-1 RSC and will travel to Rio Grande (Ohio) for its next games March 8-9.
