MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The River States Conference congratulates University of Rio Grande (Ohio) baseball head coach Brad Warnimont for surpassing 800 career wins earlier this year. The RedStorm completed a season-opening sweep at Brewton-Parker (Ga.) to give Warnimont win No. 800 on Jan. 26, 2019.

Warnimont, in his 18th year at Rio Grande and his 27th season as a college baseball head coach, now has 811 victories to date. The RedStorm is 14-8 overall, 2-1 RSC after a conference series win this past weekend at IU Southeast.

Warnimont ranks 13th among active NAIA baseball head coaches in career wins. In addition to Rio Grande, he has also been a head coach at Ashland (Ohio) University, Salem International (W.Va.) University and Bethany (W.Va.) College.

Rio Grande is currently "receiving votes" in the NAIA Baseball Top 25 Poll and is just outside the rankings at No. 26 overall in the country.
