Mitchell repeats as RSC Men's Golfer of the Week for Midway (Ky.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Midway (Ky.) University senior Austin Mitchell for the second time in three weeks has been named the River States Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, most recently for his play from April 8-14.
A native of Louisville, Ky., Mitchell took runner-up honors at the Midway Eagle Invitational firing an impressive 68 in the first round and then a 78 in the final round to place second of 61 golfers. That led the Eagles to second place of 11 teams.
Midway is one of 11 teams competing this weekend at the RSC Men's Golf Championship in Florence, Ind.
