Faundez selected RSC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for IU East
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Max Faundez helped IU East extend its win streak and was selected River States Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for April 8-14.
The junior from Santiago, Chile, won both of his matchups in the Red Wolves' victory over Ohio Christian to push IU East's streak to three wins in a row. The Red Wolves did not drop a game in the 9-0 victory.
Faundez won the No. 2 singles matchup in straight sets and the No. 1 doubles contest, 8-0. IU East improved to 11-9 overall, 3-0 RSC with the victory. The Red Wolves will be at IU Southeast for a big matchup on Wednesday, April 17.
