Lewis picks up RSC Softball Player of the Week for Midway (Ky.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Midway (Ky.) University junior Danaria Lewis powered the Eagles to an RSC sweep to pick up River States Conference Softball Player of the Week for April 8-14.
Lewis, an infielder form Shelbyville, Ky., was 3 for 6 in a doubleheader sweep of Ohio Christian in conference play. She collected three doubles and four RBIs on the day to even Midway's record at 7-7 RSC.
Lewis started out going 2 for 3 with two doubles, a run and three RBIs in an 11-2 win. She backed that up with a double, a run and an RBI in the nightcap, a 3-0 victory.
Midway (17-21, 7-7 RSC) will be at Kentucky State on April 16.
