Walz selected RSC Women's Golfer of the Week for Point Park (Pa.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park (Pa.) University junior Joey Walz was selected as the River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for her play April 8-14. It is her third such honor of the year.
Walz, from Pittsburgh, Pa., shot a 75 to win medalist at the Grove City Invitational. Her card included a 1-under 35 on the front 9 at Grove City Country Club. That led the Pioneers to first place of four teams.
Point Park will host the Pioneer Classic April 26 for their next event before the conference championship.
