Nowak's victory earns RSC Women's Golfer of the Week from IU East
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU East senior Bre Nowak had a strong individual and team showing last weekend to earn River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for April 15-21.
The Chippewa Falls, Wis., native shot a 74 to win medalist honors at the IU Kokomo Invitational, and she led the Red Wolves to the team championship as well. Nowak's 11th-career event win matched a program record for lowest score in a spring event, and it won by four shots.
IU East's next event is the RSC Women's Golf Championships next week April 29-30 at Belterra Golf Course.
