EATON, Ohio (Day 1 Results) – The opening day of the River States Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships took place on April 25 at Eaton High School.
Women's Top Three Teams – through 6 events
University of Rio Grande – 49 points
Point Park University – 31 points
Cincinnati Christian University – 29 points
Field Event Finals - Day 1
Women's Pole Vault – Rachel Frey – Brescia - 2.92m
Women's Long Jump – Jozalyn Albright – Cincinnati Christian – 5.52m
Women's Hammer Throw – Deborah Rubin – Cincinnati Christian – 42.88m
Track Event Finals - Day 1
Women's 4x800 meter relay – Point Park set a new RSC record with a time of 9:51.49 which beat their 10:10.07 mark set in 2017.
Women's 5,000 meter Race Walk – Taylor Grubb – Rio Grande – 38:49.85
Women's 10,000 meter Run – Anna Shields – Point Park – 39:20.98
The remaining events held on Day 1 of the RSC Outdoor Track & Field Championships were all preliminary heats that will have finals completed on April 26.
