FLORENCE, Ind. -- The 2019 River States Conference Women's Golf Championship tees off Monday, April 29 with an 8:30 a.m. ET shotgun start. The 54-hole event at Belterra Golf Course in Florence, Ind., features nine schools, and the winner will advance to the NAIA National Championship May 14-17 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
The championship begins with 36 holes on Monday and concludes with the final round of 18 holes on Tuesday. Groups of three schools are paired for the first 36 holes, and they will be re-paired for the final round based on the standings after the first day.
The pairings were based on the order of finish at the RSC Fall Preview earlier this season. IU East won that title by four shots over Asbury (Ky.) University, and those schools are joined by Midway (Ky.) University in the group going off of holes No. 1-5 on Monday for the first round.
IU Kokomo, Brescia (Ky.) University and Point Park (Pa.) University will begin Monday on holes No. 6-10. Starting on various holes on the back 9 is the group of Cincinnati Christian University, University of Rio Grande (Ohio) and Carlow (Pa.) University.
Also to be decided at the championship will be All-RSC honors with the players posting the best performances from the fall and spring tournaments earning first- and second-team honors. Also awarded with be the RSC Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and Newcomer of the Year.
