Walz repeats as RSC Women's Golfer of the Week for Point Park (Pa.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park (Pa.) University junior Joey Walz repeated as the River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for April 1-7. Her performance gave her the honor for the second time in a row.
A native of Pittsburgh, Walz shot an 84 to take runner-up honors at the Westminster Invitational on Saturday. She was one shot off the lead and led the Pioneers to the team victory in the standings.
Point Park will be at the Grove City Invitational on Tuesday.
