Ecker-Randolph races to RSC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for (RV) WVU Tech
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- WVU Tech junior Michael Ecker-Randolph had a runner-up finish at the Golden Bear Classic to pick up River States Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for Sept. 2-8.
Ecker-Randolph, from St. Petersburg, Fla., completed the 4,000-meter course in 12 minutes, 59 seconds. That put him in second place out of 68 runners to lead the WVU Tech team to second place in the standings.
The Golden Bears, who are "receiving votes" in the NAIA Top 25, visit the Roanoke College Preview Sept. 14.
