Topolski named RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week for IU East
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU East senior Cali Topolski directed a 4-0 week for the Red Wolves and was named River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week for Sept. 2-8.
Topolski, from South Bend, Ind., collected 127 assists in four matches as the Red Wolves went unbeaten at the Fisk University Music City Invitational. She averaged 9.07 assists, 2.00 digs and 1.07 kills per set. Topolski totaled 15 kills, 28 digs and six blocks on the week.
She had highs of 39 assists, 10 digs and four blocks in a win over Freed-Hardeman. There were also 38 assists and seven digs in a sweep of (RV) Campbellsville (Ky.), 29 assists, five kills and five digs in a sweep of (RV) Milligan (Tenn.) and 21 assists, five kills and six digs in a sweep of Brewton-Parker (Ga.).
IU East (5-4) will host the Red Wolves Invitational Sept. 20-21.
