Pateli named RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week for WVU Tech

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- WVU Tech senior Konstantina Pateli made the all-tournament team at the Concord (W.Va.) Classic to earn River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week for Sept. 9-15.

Pateli, from Athens, Greece, led the Golden Bears to a 4-0 weekend with 177 assists and 11.80 assists per set in the four matches. She also totaled 42 digs, 23 assists and seven aces on the week. Pateli had an attack percentage of .426 to go along with averages of 2.80 digs and 1.53 kills per set.

The biggest match was 58 assists, 11 digs and eight kills in a 3-2 win over Concord. That came after 55 assists, 11 digs, five kills and three aces versus Ohio Valley. There were also 36 assists and 10 digs versus Glenville State and 28 assists and 10 digs versus West Virginia State.

WVU Tech (11-5) gets back into action Sept. 27 at Point Park.
