Parks picks up RSC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for WVU Tech
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- WVU Tech junior Jaelynn Parks led the Golden Bears last weekend and picked up River States Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for Sept. 9-15.
Parks, from Lewisburg, W.Va., had a team-best time of 24 minutes, 41 seconds in the 6,000-meter race at the Roanoke Invitational. That put her in 22nd place of the 147 runners and led the Golden Bears to fourth place of 19 teams. She had a pace of 6:37 per mile.
WVU Tech travels to the Queens City Invitational Sept. 27 in Charlotte, N.C.
