Topolski picks up RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week for second time for IU East

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU East senior Cali Topolski picked up her second River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week honor for her play Sept. 16-22. She also won the award two weeks ago.

Topolski, from South Bend, Ind., averaged 10.36 assists per set to lead all players at IU East's home tournament over the weekend. She had 145 assists in all and also totaled 39 digs and 18 kills. Topolski put up averages of 2.76 digs and 1.29 kills per set while hit .208.

Topolski started the week with 39 assists, 17 digs and seven kills in a 3-1 win over St. Francis (Ill.). She had four matches with 30 or more assists with 38 and nine digs versus Judson (Ill.), 36 and six digs versus Union (Ky.) and 32, seven digs and four aces versus Milligan (Tenn.).

IU East (8-5, 0-0 RSC) will host Ohio Christian on Tuesday for its next match.
