The River States Conference Women's Basketball Update for Jan. 29, 2020 tips off with WVU Tech on fire with an 11-game win streak and an RSC-best 10-0 conference record. The Golden Bears are 17-6 overall after going 2-0 this past weekend.

WVU Tech leads the RSC East Division by 1.5 games over University of Rio Grande (Ohio) (16-8), which is 9-2 RSC. Those two teams have the best RSC records as the race for the overall regular-season championship and automatic NAIA national bid hits the last weekend of January.

The RSC West Division is more bunched up with first-place Midway (Ky.) University leading a group of five teams that are seperated by just 2.5 games. The East Division has gotten the better of the West so far this season, but things could easily turn the other way with a full slate of East-West crossover matchups happening again this weekend on Thursday and Saturday.

There are five conference matchups on Thursday night and five more on Saturday as the teams travel across the divisions. Nine of the 10 games will have live coverage featuring video streaming and/or live stats. Follow along all weekend with live links and results at RiverStatesConference.com. It's an intriguing list of games this weekend with several of them being potential playoff matchups in the first round.
