Hernandez nabs RSC Men's Golfer of the Week from WVU Tech
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- WVU Tech senior Jorge Mario Hernandez won the Golden Bear Classic to capture River States Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for Oct. 12-18
The native of Bogota, Colombia, shot 72 in the WVU Tech home tournament and then won on the second playoff hole to take individual honors. He was first of 20 golfers with his 2-over effort on the 7,121-yard course.
Hernandez also shot 79-82 earlier in the week at the Cedarville Invitational.
