Point Park's Bobak named RSC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park (Pa.) University freshman Kylee Bobak was big on both ends of the field to pick up River States Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Oct. 12-18.

The defender from Ambridge, Pa., keyed a 3-0 week for Point Park by playing every minute on defense. The Pioneers shut out IU East, 1-0, and also beat Ohio Christian and IU Kokomo combining to give up four goals in the three games.

Bobak got involved offensively as well with a total of four assists on the week. She had two assists at IU Kokomo and one each in the other two wins. Point Park is 5-2, 5-1 RSC and will host WVU Tech on Thursday, Oct. 22.
