Point Park's Serlin snags RSC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park (Pa.) University freshman Ella Serlin posted a conference shutout to win River States Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Oct. 19-25.
A goalkeeper from Toronto, Canada, Serlin made a career-high 16 saves in a 2-0 shutout win over WVU Tech this past week. She faced a total of 26 shots.
Point Park is now 6-2 overall, 6-1 RSC after the victory. The Pioneers host Rio Grande (Ohio) on Oct. 29.
